Oh hey. SKL stuff.

Listening to: Evacuate the Dance Floor
My brothe
r graduated today. I don't wuv him at all. I won't miss him at all.... *sniff* U-Uwah....I don't care if he's spending the summer at home until September....*wibblewhimper* Urrrgh. ANYWAY. I finished my final project for History. it turned out to be quite a winner. I'll be posting all my completed illustrations that went into it. All these characters are part of my franchise(?) thingy called Something Kinda Like. All the characters are based on politics, military bodies, populations....pretty much making it a not-plaigarism-of-Hetalia-and-purposefully-educational.

Here are my character designs for East and West Germany. Top: I made WG look more outgoing and open, but kind of naive and curious. I gave him wings on his outfit as a representation of democracy.
Bottom: EG was my favorite to draw throughout the whole project. His patched eye is supposed to represent the west side of Berlin, which was divided amongst the western allies. He holds a sickle and hammer, the symbols of communism-- as well as a star on his clothing. My inspirations for his design were
Crona from Soul Eater, and Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji. He turned out to be my little ball of moe.

More Chara designs.
Top:
When I created him, he was meant to represent the Soviet Union. Then, his meaning kinda morphed over time-- representing the actual unity of the Communist nations, or of Communism itself. I meant for him to be an affable yangire. I tried to make him intimidating as well as almost handsome...even though he's a chibi. I think I pulled it off pretty well, though. He was inspired by Alucard from Hellsing.
Bottom Left:
He represents the Russian military, who watches over EG like a big brother. In fact, he was born from doodles I would draw in my planner of a boy in a hat and scarf with clothes too big for him...and he became this. He's usually very serious, competitive, and strategic. Because it's cold in Russia, he always wears a long coat and scarf. There is almost always a star motif on his outfits. He was (very subconsciously) modeled after Kino from Kino's Journey.
Bottom Right:
He represents the U.S. military, he watches over WG. Now, now, is anyone takes offense to this, I apologize-- I'm an American as well.....but, the objective of this project was to demonize the west in the form of propaganda-- it was kinda necessary. I was never sure what his outfits should look like, but I always kept the wing motifs--it added a nice patriotic touch. I always thought of marine and civil war hats for him, because I didn't want to draw helmets. Come to think of it..... most of them wear hats.... ; c;

I'll post more pics and the video itself in my next post, hopefully, it's a lot including pictures I didn't use....

.....Now for something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT~! :D

This pic is supposed to be a parody of the ending song for the anime K-On. Yes, that's our Esa. That's me, Artie. The other two are our significant others. = u=
This was actually meant to be figure drawing practice. I still can't decide where certain limbs should go. @_@ Youkai is a bit of a challenge. I want her legs to be positioned in a more interesting standing position-- either that, or a normal stance with a more interesting arm movement.

Good night, sleep night, dream of....stuff and nonsense.
